Pizza is more than just a dish—it's a cultural phenomenon that connects people all over the world. Originating in Naples, Italy, pizza has evolved over the centuries into a global favorite.
Pizza is not only versatile and adaptable, but also a perfect example of the art of simple cooking. With just a few high-quality ingredients, you can conjure up a dish that delights both the palate and the heart. I've tailored this recipe for you so it fits perfectly into your Medical Medium routine.
For this recipe you need:
1 pack "PIZZA & mehr" (gluten-free, organic, vegan)
7 g sea salt (or to taste)
2 tablespoons olive oil
400 ml lukewarm water
some rice flour or tapioca starch for flouring
Preparation:
Pour the "PIZZA & MORE" baking mix into a bowl, add 7 g of sea salt and mix with a whisk.
Mix two tablespoons of olive oil with 400 ml of lukewarm water, add to the baking mix and mix with a hand mixer fitted with a dough hook for about 3 minutes.
Let the dough rest for 10 minutes and then form 3-4 equal-sized dough balls with floured hands.
Dust the work surface well with rice flour or tapioca starch, place the dough in the middle, flour it, and flatten it with the palm of your hand.
Work pizza dough as usual with your hands or rolling pin, leaving the edges a little thicker or folding them over. If the dough sticks while working, simply flour it frequently.
Top as desired, brush the edges with olive oil if desired and bake in the preheated oven on the top rack at 200-220°C for approx. 15 minutes.
We wish you bon appetit!
