Oat bread Medical Medium friendly

Pour the KUSTURA Haferbrot oat bread mix into a bowl and add one packet of baking powder (approx. 17g). Salt can be added if desired, as the blend is salt-free. Caraway seeds or bread spices can also be used.

Whisk the dry ingredients together.

Mix 150 ml unsweetened applesauce with 380 ml water, add to the baking mix and stir with a hand mixer with dough hooks for about 3-4 minutes until the dough is homogeneous.

Then grease a smaller loaf pan and immediately pour the batter into it.

Smooth the dough with a dough scraper (it's best to use a splash of water for this) and bake in a preheated oven on the middle rack for 90 minutes at 200°C top/bottom heat.

Remove the finished bread from the baking tin immediately and let it cool in a clean tea towel for 2-3 hours.
